Meet Caroline
Yale School of Medicine graduate, former admissions committee member, and published author dedicated to helping you earn acceptance to your dream medical school.
Caroline Echeandia-Francis, MD founded PrepMD and wrote the guidebook — Primum Non Nocere — to remove the mystery of medical school admissions for aspiring physicians. Having successfully navigated the process herself, she shares first-hand experiences, lessons, and tips on how to win the medical school admissions game.
Caroline is a Yale School of Medicine graduate who served on Yale SOM's admissions committee. She has guided applicants to acceptances at top programs across the country. She knows what it takes to gain admissions to MD programs because she has lived it as a pre-med student, medical student, advisor, and now as a physician.
During her own application cycle, Caroline interviewed at 19 medical schools — including half of the top 20 programs in the country — and was accepted to ten US allopathic medical schools. That experience, combined with her time on Yale SOM's admissions committee, gives her a uniquely complete perspective on what it takes to succeed.
